Well, I survived last week... 2 days and no A/C. Lots of cold showers, though. Up early this morning...couldn't sleep past 5:30 am. So started a slow cooker meal for a late lunch. Chicken Tagine with dried apricots and dried cranberries, onions, carrots, chicken broth and a little tomato paste. Served over couscous. we shall see how it tastes.

It has been too long since I was here. I should be ashamed of myself!! Anyway, I am sitting here in the heat 'cause my A/C is on the fritz. The landlord just called and said the a/c guy would be here soon...I sure hope so!! I was perusing The Deep South Dish site, copying recipes and was lead the this site again. So, I figured there must have been a reason. LOL. Things have been quiet around here. Still cooking for my son because he won't cook for me. He says I am a better cook!! I think that he knows how to get around his Mama and make her do it!! I love to cook just don't like to clean up after...

Well well well.....i never thought I would be blogging. Just thought it was to personal or something but I got stuck on this page looking for book titles (100 greatest books or some such) and decided why not. Sooooooooo here I am. Anybody listening?????
